Dr. Wallerstein’s pursuit of excellence began at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in the United States, where she graduated with distinction at the top of her class. As both a Fellow and a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD, MAGD), Dr. Wallerstein is among the top dentists in the U.S. and Canada. Less than 2% of dentists achieve the Master’s designation and even fewer have her Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Award (LLSR). With these credentials, you can rest assured that she is skilled in the latest techniques and best practices.Dr. Wallerstein has achieved many awards, accreditations, and advanced certifications in several areas in her field. She commits herself to outstanding results in aesthetic and restorative cosmetic dentistry.
Her hard work has earned three designations with the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA), a Fellow, a Master, and the highest-ranking, Diplomat certification. In addition, she is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Dr. Wallerstein is an accreditation candidate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). Upon completion, she will be one of only four female dentists who have achieved this level of accreditation in Canada.
She completed her post-doctoral certification in comprehensive straight-wire orthodontics and is an Invisalign-certified provider.
To ensure her patients receive the best in endodontic care, Dr. Wallerstein received advanced training in micro-endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania.
She completed advanced training with the CEREC doctor’s faculty in Arizona. The CEREC crown is designed, created, and installed in a same-day office visit using computer-assisted technology with a 3D printer. This high-tech procedure reduces waiting time for patients and reduces risks.
Regarded as the best of the best with cutting-edge dental education, Dr. Wallerstein has trained with the Kois Center and Spear’s Education curriculum.
Beyond caring for her own patients, she is widely recognized as a leader in the field of dentistry.
Since 2015, she has invested in dental students as a Clinical instructor in the Faculty of Dentistry, at McGill University. She was awarded the AGD Faculty Advisor of the Year in 2021 for her dedication to providing continuing education and mentorship for her students.
Dr. Wallerstein also serves as Regional Director of the Academy of General Dentistry and nationally for Eastern Canada. Other exemplary roles include Executive member of the Quebec AGD, member of the administrative committee of the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics (CARDP), and local advisory committee chair for the upcoming AGD meeting in 2025.
In the last few years, she has been inducted into the American College of Dentists as a Fellow and has achieved Fellowship status in the elite Pierre Fauchard Dental Academy. This is an international recognition of outstanding leadership and contributions to the dental profession.
With a background in the fashion industry and the skill to play piano at a performance level, she has a passion for many forms of art including visual arts, performing arts, decorative arts, culinary arts, and fashion.
Dr. Wallerstein really enjoys traveling to new destinations and learning about other cultures. She has traveled to Brazil and Paraguay with the Health Mission Organization, volunteering dental services to underprivileged third-world communities.
Dr. Wallerstein is a loving mother and wife who enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
